Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, Interstate 664. The I-664 Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel (MMMBT) opened in 1992. This four-lane, dual-tunnel system connects the Virginia Peninsula cities of Newport News and Hampton to the South Hampton Roads cities of Suffolk and Chesapeake.
